Silo Springs Ranch
Know your Rancher and know your Food.
Silo Springs Ranch is an all-natural grass-fed Angus beef operation in Culloden, GA. Run by Arlin and Audrey Gravelle, they raise cattle with room-to-roam and process humanely just 15 miles from the ranch. The beef is air-aged for 14 days before being hand-cut, vacuum-packed, and flash-frozen at peak freshness. Everything offered is USDA-certified and Beef Quality Assurance Certified.
We believe knowing where your beef comes from is key.
We are over the moon to share this farm-to-table experience with you.
The Silo Springs Ranch Difference
-
The ranch and general store are in Culloden, GA. Located right in middle Georgia on the Monroe County/Crawford County line.
-
At Silo Springs Ranch, our cows enjoy spacious pastures with plenty of room to roam and graze on a variety of grasses. We never confine them to cramped feedlots or feed them grains. While our approach takes a bit longer, we believe you'll taste the difference in every bite.
-
We don’t use steroids or hormones in our cattle. We raise clean cattle without antibiotics so that we can eat clean beef.
The beef has no water added, no dyes, no MSG, and no preservatives. Just beef.
-
We’ve taken a number of classes to learn as much as we can about genetics. We take it a step further and compare genetics to beef quality. Buy Local, Buy natural, Buy a quality you can taste. Silo Springs Ranch
Just Us
Our small business is family run with Arlin and Audrey. You will also find Audrey’s Mom, Karen, at the markets. From time to time you will see the butchers at the markets too. We are small, we don’t use order numbers, we use your name. The same people at your local farmers’ market selected the cows, kept the herd healthy and happy, and look forward to helping you keep your freezer fully stocked.
Stress-free Herds
That’s our secret.
It starts with the cows living quiet lives, with access to a variety of grasses, ponds, springs, fresh well-water, and shaded woods. We visit with the cows to check on them daily and that gets them used to seeing us. We even have large scratching posts for them to enjoy.
